The closed top thimbles are for a regular/medium hand, about a 4.5 to 5.5 US ring size at the base of the cuticle.



The open back and open based thimble is what I refer to as an "appliquer's" thimble because it is light and not intended for heavy pushing. That thimble is something you simply put on your finger and squeeze it until it fits.


Tom Edwards has a replacement or repair policy on his thimbles. Please advise me and I can forward the thimble to him for repair or replacement. The drop rimmed open thimble is the most popular in this line. It's a beauty!
