Malia's Bare Pause handmade soaps have a margin of "superfatting," in which extra emollients are calculated within the recipe to ensure you of a cleansing yet mild bar. You will likely find in about 6 weeks of use that you are using less lotion and skin conditioner because it is hand made soap and not a mass produced detergent bar. Just ask my elderly mother. Since using Bare Pause soaps, she only "lotions" her feet at bedtime during the summer months.
Bare Pause soaps are wrapped in film or cellophane after cutting to protect the soap and to prevent the spread of germs. Remove the wrapper but save the label, so you know which type of bar is your favorite. Be assured your bar of soap has not been "sniffed" by another.
