Thimbles
Fitting thimbles is a personal thing. So I know
it's hard for you to make a selection on the internet. The companies
I work with want to provide you with the best sewing experience
possible. Hence, they have the best policies for exchange,
replacement, and repair of thimbles. Regardless of what
thimble you order, you have thirty days for exchanging sizes, and
more if I am out of stock in the size needed. I try to
maintain a fairly good stock of all the thimbles.
TJ Lane Thimbles
Probably the one with the most available fittings are the ones made by TJ
Lane.
Jasmine Thimbles and Needle Gliders
Jasmine have porcelain thimbles and under quilt
needle gliders.
Tom Edwards Thimbles
Sterling silver and 18K gold thimbles available. He has open
topped thimbles, appliquer's thimble and cone thimbles.
Roxanne Thimbles
Roxanne thimbles come in whole and half sizes, in gold plate and
silver plate, from Roanne sizes 2.5 to 10 - fifteen sizes.
Vintage Thimbles
These thimbles are ones I have collected over the last few years.
Some are very old, some not so old, and some only thirty years old.
TJ's Quick Quilter
This is the only type of quilting spoon I have ever
seen that works.
Hugo's Amazing Tape
This is what I personally use when my finger gets sore from
quilting. This is self adhesive plastic that sticks to itself.
