These designs are printed on premium pre-shrunk muslin in a
wash- out
ink which washes out easily after quilting is complete - do not wash
before quilting. Included
with the small sizes (40 x 40 or 40 x 54 inches) is the backing
fabric and enough margin fabric to make up the binding. which is cut
off once the piece is quilted. This will give you cross cut and
straight grain binding, and you will have to be careful when you
join them on the diagonal so you don't run a little short. I did the
Floral Fantasy and had plenty, so I am merely giving you a heads up
that this is something to take into consideration when making the
top up.

Hobbs Tuscany Superwash Wool batting on the
site for $50.00 in a king size. It is the best wool batting I
have come across; light, machine washable in cold water without
the risk of "shock," and so easy to needle its like butter. It
also drapes like a flannel and retains its softness and loft.
I'm a hundred percent sold on it for hand quilting.
